Services Sector Survey Launched in Trinidad (11-7-12)
As part of CTA's ongoing assignment with the Commonwealth Secretariat in Trinidad and Tobago, Mark Hellyer presented the findings of the Diagnostic study to service industry associations and government Ministries. The workshop also detailed the need for gathering services data on each of the sectors and explained the outline methodology for surveying. CTA with the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI) will now undertake surveys of the yachting, engineering, architect, higher education, medical tourism and fashion sectors to raise the national profile of the sectors, as well as provide information and inputs to the sector export strategies being developed under the project.
The strategies are expected to be presented to stakeholders in September.
